About Volunteering North Queensland Inc. (VNQ)
VNQ is a not-for-profit agency funded by the Australian Government and Volunteering Australia.
VNQ serves the community by referring volunteers to other not-for-profit organisations. Staff at VNQ work to ensure suitable placements for the mutual benefit of the volunteer and the organisation. VNQ also offers a full back up service.
When registered volunteers or organisations require specific training or support services, VNQ will try to arrange or deliver solutions. VNQ is also a founding member of Quick Step NQ: A not-for-profit training and support co-operative.
These services are available only to volunteers and organisations registered with VNQ. Registration for volunteers is free. Membership fees were introduced by the Management Committee from July 1st 2003.
