This report has been prepared to assist the QSNQ Committee in the identification of the support, information and training needs of not-for-profit organisations in the Burdekin, Hinchinbrook and Dalrymple Shires.
Mission Australia are offering Free Transition to Work Training packages for eligible parents, carers, or those aged over 50 to asist them to enter or re-enter the workforce.
Transition to Work offers practical help such as training and funding to help develop skills to overcome barriers to employment. Packages may include courses to help upgrade skills, help with self-confidence and self esteem, assistance with writing resume or job applications, career counseling, driver training to gain a driver's licence or other vehicle licence.
